Do you think marines are more arrogant compared tot he army?
I believe they are trained to be more arrogant and self-righteous. That is what makes them want to fight for their reputation. The army i believe fights more for their buddies and themselves… lives in general. Both sides fight for the freedom of innocent American lives, but do the personalities differ because of the training in basic training?
To be a Marine, you have to want to be a Marine no matter what job you get during training. So I would have to agree with you that the Marines are more arrogant than the Army. It is not a bad thing I would have to say. Marines have a rich past to uphold. Not saying that the other branches do not, but it seems like to me from Marines I talk to at times have the for sure attitude.
If anyone tries to down play the Army, remember who trains the Marines on all Special Operations Training (the Army does).
