How do I add pack files to my XDCC bot?
My friend bought me an XDCC bot a few days ago. I decided to start using it today, but unfortunately, she’s away for the next few days so I can’t ask her.
How do I add files to my XDCC bot? She told me I’m the admin host & I have the password, but how do I access it to add files? Please help me.
I know it’s something to do with DCC host… but I really don’t know where to go, what to do, etc etc. I know she hosted it on iroffer or something [?] but… yea. >_>; Do I have to install iroffer? If so, what do I do?
As you can tell, I’ve no idea wtf I gotta do.
I’m not new to IRC, but I’m not familiar with XDCC bots as this is my first time hosting one. I really do want to get started ASAP, since I need it up and ready by tomorrow.
Read the code, see how the files get listed (if it uses the ls command, it lists all files in the directory, so you just copy the files to there) and go from there. You really shouldn’t run any script you can’t analyze.
