Gauge Short Line
I am driving a 98 Plymouth Neon. Just recently the temp gauge in the car has jumped up to hot. Thermostat?
its not going fully on hot its about a quarter short of the red line. Checked the coolant level.
did you check the coolant level in it and make sure it was full and also make sure that the cooling fan was working right on it,that could be the thermostat sticking some on it but they will usually stick in the open or closed position,either making one heat up all the way or not heat up at all,also check to see if the fan is running at all times, that would indicate a bad thermostat,or a clogged radiator,good luck
