Open Hopper

I left my window open before going away?

I forgot to close my dorm room window (not all the way, it’s a hopper winow) before I left (it’s been a month now). I’m coming back tomorrow – what’s the worst I can expect? We’ve had some pretty harsh storms around here lately. It’s probably just my anxiety talking but has anyone had a similar problem?
oh Mitch, our dorms are pretty mildew-y anyway but a pet would be nice.
thanks for your input guys but I doubt that anything would be stolen since it’s impossible to get in from the outside (and there is nothing to steal). I am stupid, I know, and I am not able to sleep now since all I can see is mildew on the floor. Ugh.

Call your school and have someone check it out now! At the very least they can prevent further damage. Mildew and mold can be dangerous to your health, and to others. If (when you get back) you see a black colored mold, you absolutely must have that checked out. Black mold is a severe health hazard. Be prepared to have to replace just about anything in there.
