What paintball gun should i get?
I’m an intermediate paintball player i have gone like 5 times over past year and i really enjoy paintball. i play mostly woodsball. I want to know if i should get The tippmann x7, or a lighter speedball gun that will work well for woodsball. The only thing i dont like about the x7 is the wieght last time of my tippmann 98 custom started to make my arm sore and with a pod belt and remote coil i will not b able to run as fast. so i might look into getting a lighter gun like the proto slg or rail or the g3 my budget is $350 what gun should i get
Ok man I have to recommend the A-5 hands down. I own one myself and its reliability exceeds any gun i know. The cyclone feed is a one-of-a-kind. It will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. Also I have had mine for 6mo and i haven’t broke a ball yet, I use it a lot to. The response trigger is a good upgrade but i think it works fine without it. As for the barrel, go with an Apex Barrel System. It is similar to a flatline but it is adjustable. You can set how you want the ball to curve or even turn it off. Also its half the price of a flatline! You can find it on paintballonline.com The A-5 is basically an x7 with a lower price tag so its a good choice. As for your weigh issue, just hook up a remote line and the gun will no longer have a heavy tank on it. The A-5 has made it’s self a legend in woodsball.
So if i had $350, I would buy an A-5 with a e-grip so I could have full auto, burst shots, or semi auto. That runs about $279, although you can get the basic A-5 for $179. If you got it with just a response trigger, which works great, it runs about $230. Now add a $30 dollar remote line and mabe a $25 pod pack for your tank to sit in and your still under your budget.
