Do Super Bowl commercials cost differently at different parts of the game?
I always watch the Super Bowl, sometimes more for the commercials. I was curious if there is one set price companies pay for a commercial during the Super Bowl or if it’s more expensive to have one shown in the middle of the game than in the beginning or end?
Yeah, they do. The difference is going to be an industry secret, but you can guess that they cost the most at the beginning of the game (when everyone is watching) and probably start to get lower over time. They also probably have clauses for close games.
