a wedding of mocking birds rain down
upon my apple tree.
for if i had the angel wings,
i’d soar above the humble bee.
and if breezes blew north,
why would we hold our hearts so tender?
a childhood laughter is my screaming blender.
alas we could carry a soul much further,
but nevermore would our secrets wonder.
the whistling voices tickle my fancy,
nevermore will that catch sir yancy.
for if a thousand words poured upon each ear,
i had a vowel to shed my tear.
no more darkness beneath the valley,
welcome sir, this is the final rally.
