How does a two-cycle engine work?

Does anyone know of a manufacture of a fake, or ‘toy’ engine that will help me figure out how they work and go together? L

OK bear with me a little as I will try and explain it. A two cycle engine fires every time the piston is at the top of the cylinder. As the piston fires and goes down it does two things. It gives power and compresses the fuel air mix in the crankcase. As the piston reaches about 3/4 the way to the bottom it passes holes in the side of the block and the exhaust escape. As it gets about 7/8 the way to the bottom it passes some more ports that push the fuel air from the crankcase into the chamber. As the piston moves up it does two things, it compresses the fuel air mix and the bottom of the piston pulls more fuel air mix into the crankcase. The engine fires at the top of the stroke and it all starts over. Hope this helps
