Whistling Tender
Did I break my nose 4 years ago?
When I was 13, I was fooling around one Friday night, doing front flips onto my couch. I completed a flip, and my knee went straight up into my nose. It hurt like hell and from what I remember, there was a good deal of bleeding. I about passed out from blood loss, but the bleeding stopped, and I never went to the hospital. It was snowing pretty badly that night, and my dad didn’t think I needed it set. 4 years later, I look at my nose, and it is slightly bent in one direction. I notice it, and when you look closely, it is fairly obvious my nose is not straight all the way down. Also, when I exhale through my nose, it whistles out of my right nostril. It no longer hurts, but from what I remember, it was very tender for several weeks afterward. So my question, did I indeed break my nose 4 years ago, or am I just paranoid?

If you broke it 4 years ago then youve got nothing to be worried about… you’re still here. I would suggest making an appointment with your family doctor and telling him your store though… they should be able to further investigate and tell you for sure.
I got hit in the face in school playing lacross and it bled for like an hour… teacher looked at me and said it wasn’t broken and to sit the game out… looking back on it now… that was 10 years ago… I wish I’d left school and gone to the doctors, as I have the same issues you speak of.
